This policy explains what happens to information when you use Pico, provided by [Provider Name]. Effective [Effective Date]. The current version is always published at [Privacy Policy URL].
We do not collect, receive or store any personal information about you. Your puzzles, progress, statistics and settings never leave your device.
The App does show advertising, and the advertising provider does collect information. That is described below, because it is the honest description of what using the App involves.
Pico saves the following locally, and only locally: your settings; in-progress and completed puzzles; times, streaks and statistics; whether a rating prompt has been shown; and the version of these documents you accepted, with the date you accepted it.
This information is not transmitted anywhere, is not backed up to any service we operate, and is not accessible to us. It is removed when you delete the App or use "Reset all data" in Settings.
The App displays advertising through Google AdMob. To serve and measure advertising, Google may collect and process: device identifiers (including the Identifier for Advertisers), IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and operating system characteristics, advertising interaction data, and crash and performance diagnostics.
We do not receive this information in any identifiable form. We may see aggregate, anonymous reporting such as total impressions and revenue.
Google acts as an independent controller of the information it collects. Its handling of that information is governed by Google’s own policies, which you can review at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On iOS, the App asks for your permission before any tracking identifier is used for advertising. If you decline, advertising is served without that identifier and is less personalised. Declining does not reduce any feature of the game.
You can change this at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent through Google’s certified consent management platform before personalised advertising is used, and you can change your choice from within the App.
If you turn on streak reminders, the App schedules notifications locally on your device. No notification is sent from a server, no push token is created, and nothing about your play is transmitted in order to deliver one.
Pico is suitable for all ages and is rated accordingly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Advertising is configured to request only content rated suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child has been served inappropriate advertising, please contact us so it can be reported.
Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on request; everything the App stores is already in your possession and under your control.
For information held by Google in connection with advertising, exercise your rights directly with Google using the links in its privacy policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or comparable laws. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in that legislation.
Information stored by the App is protected by the security of your device and its operating system. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no server-side store of your data to be breached.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at the address above and noted in the App’s release notes before the change takes effect.
